Is it possible with SDL_ttf to shrink the text?
The problem is that I have a box of a given size (w, h in pixels) and I have
to paint a string of text in it.
I have to work out the font size (points) to fit the box height, and after
that, if the rendered text does not fit in the box lenght, I have to shrink
teh gliphs mantaining the height.
I have seen non API on SDL_ttf that allowa to do this; just gets glyph info,
but cannot set.
Has anyone done this? Any ideas?
?Or should I consider rendering in original size, and then, if it does not
fit, scale the surface (the rendered text) to fit the destination box? I
think this would affect to the text quality ?wouldn?t it?
