Undefined reference to IMG_Load

hi,
connecting to posting from Wed Sep 17 06:49:01 2003, i have similar
problem, if i try to compile:

g++ sdl-config --cflags --libs sdltest.cpp -o sdltest

i get error:

In function main': : undefined reference toIMG_Load’
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

i dont know what devil is ? libdevil1 and libdevil-dev ?
(apt-get on debian)
and what is it used for ?
i do not think it was needed.

i fixed it like this
-lSDL_image

cheers++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hi

Devil means “Developers Image Library”, previously known as OpenIL.
You can get it at: http://www.imagelib.org

Is it just coincidence that the zip file for DevIL-Manual is 666KB?
