Upgraded from RedHat 7.3 to 9 - now problems with SDL programs

Hi guys

As stated above I recently upgraded from Rh7.3 to Rh9. When attempting to
compile SDL_draw, I get the following error during the ./configure:

[rylan at StefanLinux SDL_draw-1.2.1]$ ./configure
checking for a BSD-compatible install… /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane… yes
/home/rylan/SDL_draw-1.2.1/missing: Unknown --run' option Try/home/rylan/SDL_draw-1.2.1/missing --help’ for more information
configure: WARNING: `missing’ script is too old or missing

as well as, lower down:

checking whether ln -s works… yes
loading cache /dev/null within ltconfig
ltconfig: you must specify a host type if you use --no-verify' Tryltconfig --help’ for more information.
configure: error: libtool configure failed
[rylan at StefanLinux SDL_draw-1.2.1]$

This seems to happen only in programs that use the SDL library. I did get
SDL-1.2.6 itself compiled and working - any idea how I can fix SDL_draw to
configure and compile on my net Rh9 system? Apparently there is some
difference in the GNU autotools that came with it from 7.3.

Thanks!–
