What are other current S.D.L. based game projects.

I can’t say much at this time as I’m just starting on SDL. Some years
ago I wrote a game on my S-100 system I called Red Light / Green Light.
It used hardware that was used in the ColecoVision game system, though I
did have to breadboard a sound system for it. Unfortunately I was doing
it in assembler and by the time I got the game presentable the
ColecoVision, and pretty much the entire home video game market, had
dried up.
AAR, the genre harkens back to the Pacman type maze game, though the
means of collecting points is a bit different. I intend to update the
game play with power ups and power downs and some additional hazards.
My main concern is sound. It doesn’t look difficult to work with using
SDL but it will still take me some time to ramp up.

FlightGear is optionally SDL based (with glut being the other
compile time option). http://www.flightgear.org/

I’m working on an SDL-based point-and-click adventure game engine, using Lua
as its scripting language.–

Nice!
The difference is, mine’s a 2D point-and-click engine.
At the moment, the thing that’s giving me the most trouble is getting the A*
path-finding algorithm working. Without that, I can’t really call it
point-and-click, because without it you’d have to move the Ego (player
character) with the cursor keys, like in the old Sierra AGI games…–

It is/would be a fulll customisable 2d fight engine

Platforms here. My game is yet in a pre-alpha state since I’m relatively new
to the SDL libs, but when I advance it to beta (one decent enough to show it
to the world, of course ;^] ) I’ll build up a site to place it.
Good luck to all game developers, hope you get far with your projects :^)–
