What is a good sdl source to learn from?

Las time I checked lazy foo had SDL and OpenGL tutorials have you checked here http://lazyfoo.net/SDL_tutorials/index.php there all SDL tutorials theres a bit of everything in there
Do you have any experience in coding at all? Lazy Foo also uses the old SDL 1.2 the newer SDL 2.0(Still in development) is a lot better for performance and able to use on mobile device.
I first learnt SDL 1.2 at the College then the next year they started teaching the students 1.3 at the time(2.0 now) since it could be used on mobile device and the last semester thats what we worked on was iOS apps
Also might be best to practice coding vs just reading a bunch of code and trying to understand well that’s the way I learn anyway
Be creative and try different things, try to make mini games maybe a pong game or something keep it simple at first
I’m also assuming you know C/C++ already?

Hope this helps a bit

so im looking for any good source besides lazyfoo because i feel that i don’t know enough sdl in order to advance to opengl.
i also tried reading the sdl documentation but i don’t get it.

Is there anything in specific you would like to see? what in addition to
lazyfoo stuff?On Sun, Aug 12, 2012 at 6:25 PM, stevo5800 wrote:
