When to use surface/object?

Hello all,

I was just wondering what the difference between
SDL_Surface for images loaded and images that move,
and using “object”. I have a background that scrolls,
and sprites that move with the background as well as
on there own. like something moving on a landscape.
When should I load the image as a Surface and when as
an object. Thanks in advance…__________________________________________________

What library are you using? SDL doesn’t have the concept of “object”.

I did it like the way it’s done in the Alien demo.
Some of the graphics are loaded as objects.
