Windows XP Joystick Test Program Sought

Hi.

I’m a Unix bod who’s trying to help his brother with a Windows XP + USB
joypad. I was wondering if there are any XP-binary test programs for
the SDL Joystick subsystem anywhere that would help. Just something
that prints out all the events received would be useful.

Alternatively, is there a simple GPL’d game that uses the joypad and has
an XP-binary available?

(Please keep me CC’d as I’m not subscribed.)

Thanks,

Ralph.

If you have the SDL source code, look in the test directory, there’s a
program called (strangely enough) testjoystick. I was pretty sure
that’s what it does, I skimmed the source code (not having a joystick
on me) and that seems to be what it’s for.On Jul 10, 2004, at 8:52 AM, Ralph Corderoy wrote:
