Are there any plans for XRandR support? This could allow SDL apps to
change the screen resolution and/or color depth in X when they start so
that SDL_FULLSCREEN would work as expected, as a normal user, without
extra tweaks to XF86Config (it would effectively obsolete the last
question of the SDL/Linux FAQ).
Sorry if this is a FAQ, if so maybe it should go in the FAQ (as an
update to the existing SDL_FULLSCREEN-on-X question).
