Hello everyone,
Two days ago the Linux beta of Painkiller Hell & Damnation appeared on
Steam, available to all owners of the game.
As the porter responsible, I’m still ironing out bugs here and there,
but I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you SDL developers -
because without your awesome work, I’m not sure I would be able to
deliver the game in this decade.
So here it goes: THANK YOU ALL!
SDL is great and I’m also an advocate of it, even gave a talk about it
at a Polish gamedev conference to a considerable audience:
The Marmalade SDK people were especially interested and asked
questions - I think they caught the wind of competition.
Also, I wouldn’t mind if the website showcased PKHD as "made with SDL"
as well.
Best regards and thanks again!

Very cool, thanks for the heads up! I’ve added it to the SDL website.
That’s an awesome slide deck. I’m so used to SDL I forget how badass it is
until something like that pops up.
