Doctor Doctor! ...my first game in c++ with SDL

ok i’ll check all of them:) thank you for all of your comments, i’m studying on it as possible as i can and it will be better with your helps i believe this, really thanks:) but first i have to learn to use this wget system, because it is more useful for many users, i saw that:)

i tried to use doublebuffer in this code :

screen = SDL_SetVideoMode(SCRN_WDTH, SCRN_HGHT, SCRN_BPP, SDL_FULLSCREEN|SDL_DOUBLEBUF);

and i can’t see any difference about balls or screen?:s is this code wrong? or it is a problem about my eyes:D ??? :slight_smile:

Some people might have too much time on their hands or something, but people
in general have to get to the point of “hey, this is fun!”, or “now, this is
interesting” pretty quick, or they lose interest and move on.

Can’t speak for everyone, but here are somethings that I find annoying or
even outright rude:

* Captchas for plain downloads.

* Massive pages of ads that you read and click through
  to even find the actual download link.

* Sites that, for no valid reasons, will only work
  properly with closed, proprietary technologies.

* Sites that require that you register and submit
  name, age and other information that isn't really
  relevant to what you're actually trying to do.

* Sites that claim that the "free download quota"
  has been exceeded or similar, trying to give the
  impression you HAVE TO sign up and pay to be able
  to download AT ALL.

Maybe it’s just me, but if I want feedback, I try to make things as easily
accessible as possible to anyone who might want to have a look - just like one
would (or at least SHOULD) make the best of the few seconds of attention span
one has when trying to sell something.

Of course, nothing is free - and certainly not bandwidth - but this is just
the way it is. There is way too much ads, spam and general noise as it is, and
speaking for myself, it is starting to trigger allergic reactions…On Tuesday 22 December 2009, at 20.58.45, Christoph Nelles wrote:

Amen! To that I would add “flashy thingies”–animated garbage that serves no
purpose other than to catch the attention of people viewing the web site.
Advertisers think this is a Good Thing ™, but it’s like getting someone’s
attention by hitting him upside the head.

In addition, while I find such things merely irksome, flashing colors and such
can trigger attacks in epileptics. Somehow it doesn’t seem to be a good
business plan to me (marketing types take note).
