1.2.12 bugs...We need help!

We’re getting down to the end of bugs for the 1.2.12 release…most of
the original TODO list is done, plus many more that were added. It’s
starting to look really good, but, as is found in all bug trackers, the
last few bugs are always hard to fix. We need everyone’s help to smash
this last few bugs!

Here’s what’s left. We need reproduction cases, insight, and maybe even
patches. Most of these just need someone that can trigger the bug so we
can examine it.

Here’s the most important one, even if you have one monitor:

“SDL_SetVideoMode with SDL_OPENGL crashes when using two monitors”

We think we have a fix for this, but we couldn’t reproduce this in the
first place.

WE NEED EVERYONE WITH A WIN32 OPENGL APP TO TEST THE POSSIBLE FIX:

It changes some basic work that is done in the Win32 SDL_SetVideoMode(),
and we’d rather not find out that it crashes on some portion of the
machines out there. Please test this!

“application hangs during joystick / pad autodetection”

This is a win32 thing (maybe a Super Mario War bug?). If you have any
SDL apps that use joysticks, please test them on Windows! We need help
reproducing this bug.

May just be an application bug. Need people to reproduce it.

1.2 branch code from Subversion and try it out with your
application…we’d like to make sure we aren’t introducing regression
bugs in all this work, too.

Not for 1.2.12…the changes would be too big.

We’re definitely going to fix that for SDL 1.3.
