An SDL linkedin group?

Hey all,

Just because my last question initiated a tidal wave of mail, I
thought I’d keep that energy going!

We don’t have enough social media in our lives, but I was curious if
Sam (or the community) is interested in a LinkedIn group for SDL
development.

Kinda provides a way to not only help each other out, but would also
be able to highlight the kind of stuff you’re working on via LinkedIn
(eg. maybe future mobile development
with SDL 1.3+, etc )

I don’t mind doing all the grunt / paperwork (ie. clicking the
"create" button), but just checking on an “interest level” with the
community.

cheers,–

I’d love to help out! Find me on:

I like to have all discussions going on a single place. Makes it easier
to find what you need or the persons who can tell you what you’re doing
right and what you’re doing wrong.

Cheers,

Agreed. Yet I still think that a linkedin group is a good idea. I try to keep a
good profile there and I believe that it’ll come in handy for future job
prospects to see that you’ve an interest in SDL.

Yeah I think the vast majority of the industry and independent game developers are on linkedin (at least judging by how many connections I have), a group makes sense, however it should be encouraged
to discuss technical issues on this mailing list.On 02/18/2010 02:10 PM, Chris Eineke wrote:

If you really want to make it noticed for job related issues, you can always
refer to SDL on any
of the other fields LinkedIn offers for your profile. No need to have a
special group. On Fri, Feb 19, 2010 at 3:11 AM, Forest Hale wrote:
