Version 0.2.0 of Crimson Fields has been released.
This release features a set of completely revised combat rules,
a few visual improvements, assorted bug fixes and the beginnings
of a computer-controlled opponent.
Crimson Fields is a tactical war game in the tradition of Battle Isle.
Two players command a number of units on a map of hexagons, trying to
accomplish mission objectives ranging from defending important
locations to simply destroying all enemy forces.
Crimson Fields runs on Linux, FreeBSD, Windows, and probably a few
others. However, on most Windows 9x/ME installations it crashes
instantly on startup. Any suggestions how to solve this
misbehaviour are highly welcome.
