Is there any good solid GUI classes/libs for SDL? The ones on the libs page
at libsdl.org seem to be half done a few of them etc.
I want to use it to make GUI for games etc… Like menus, button, text
etc…
Best regards

Paragui, for C++ (AFAIK, there is no GUI for plain C, except old sdl_gui
versions and the one Im planning to write). On Tue, 1 Jul 2003, Damien Damien wrote:

Take a look at aedGUI, http://aedgui.sf.net. aedGUI is a non-intrusive,
cross-plataform, easy-to-use GUI library for use with SDL. Our top-most goal
is to become a simple library, and unlike ParaGUI, a non-bloated one
aedGUI is maturing very fast, thanks to a very solid development crew
And, we are in need of some help… if you want to contribute!
BTW, I’m already developing an app using aedGUI…

If everyone’s placing ad’s here. I’ll do the same:
Use ParaGUI, use ParaGUI,…
It’s slim, it’s fast, it’s proven to be stable and mature (even used in
commercial apps).
;^)
Ok. To be serious:
aedGUI looks quite nice.

Gosh, I'm red right now... sorry for the "bloated", Alex ;)))))
Thanks for the kind compliment... I like ParaGUI, I just think they are
targeted to different “audiences”
Cheers!
