Checking for SDL - version >= 1.2.0... no

i have just installed from source the sdl libraries
and tried compiling on of the demos on the
demo page (fixed rate pig) and i received
this error:
checking for SDL - version >= 1.2.0… no
what is the genesis of this error.

its probably looking at /usr/ for the sdl stuff… when you installed
it to /usr/local

try setting the --with-sdl option if there is one for the configure flagOn 4/19/05, james osburn wrote:
