Back in 2014 there was a lengthy discussion about how to meet accessibility needs (more specifically, how to achieve compatibility with Screen Readers) in an application using SDL 2.0. A new API for this was proposed, but as far as I can see nothing has happened since.
I would very much like to make my application more accessible, for example to those with sight problems, and I imagine this will increasingly become something that is expected of all apps. Are there any moves afoot to incorporate accessibility features in SDL 2.0?
