Let’s keep the anti-win32 sentiments to a minimum on this list please.
Keep in mind that even though porting and dev’ing games on Linux is cool,
Win32 is still the gaming platform. Linux hasn’t made it there yet and
IMHO, SDL is supposed to be cross-platform, one of the things that make it
so cool. Let’s not let personal biases impede SDL discussions.

Try cross-compiling. (You’ll still ahve to find someone with a Windows box
to test with.)
After a little digging and testing, I was able to get my first SDL project
cross compiled for Windows. And I never had to touch ‘that’ OS.

Amen.
One of the reasons I haven’t released the next stable version of SDL is
because the VC++ project files haven’t been updated yet. (nudge nudge)
I’m actually working on that today.

Yeah sorry, I meant to do that and pass it onto you - but my windows machine
was trashed by my eighteen month old kid 8) (she managed to reinstall windows
over itself just by hitting a few keys - and it couldn’t be stopped 8)

Yes! I realize Win32 is the mainstream*, and that’s why I’m so totally
excited about SDL, and being able to simply recompile my code for the masses.
