Compiling SDL_mixer with mingw32

It’s mission impossible to compile SDL_mixer with mingw32 (with ogg and
midi support)?
Somebody has obtained it?

i have the same problems. using the cross-compilation environment
assembled on the SDL site.

if someone could just point me to a .a file that i could link with for
mingw, it would save me a lot of tears.

or has the originator of this message found a solution.
