The latest CVS snapshot has the following bugs fixed:
Fixed colormap problems under X11 fullscreen and some window managers
– simplified code
Fixed problems with POSIX threads and signal interaction
– simplified code
Disabled key repeat under X11 when the keyboard focus is on the SDL window
– seamless auto-repeat detection
Added support for older Windows BMP files
– actually works, as opposed to xv, which is broken
