For want of Basic Sound Examples

I’m painfully new to the sound side of things and would like to know if
anyone has some real basic proof-of-concept sound examples they wouldn’t
mind sending me. The docs aren’t too clear and the demos are less so.
I’d like to concentrate of SDL for now - when I “master” that then I’ll
explore SDL Mixer and the fancy tricks it can do…
