Fullscreen and Windows

Hello:
Ok I have a fullscreen problem.
in Linux all this works fine but in windoze…
It simply hangs, no message, no error, no nothing. Sometimes even it
reboots the computer and sometimes just a black screen and some time
after it reboots or halts.

Any answers to my problems?
Anybody has the same problem?

SDL-1.0.1
VC++ 5.0
P?II, TNT2, 800x600x16
