Try googling for: opengl red book

there are also some PDF versions floating around, that can probably be found
using kazaa or some other p2p network.

You can get the Red Book here:

Blue Book 3rd Edition here:
http://tassadar.physics.auth.gr/~chameleon/OpenGL/The%20Blue%20Book.bz2

unBZ2 and then unTAR

:::IMHO:::

NeHe’s OpenGL Tutorials are also really keen
they may be found here
http://nehe.gamedev.net/

on his site he lists OpenGL Game Progamming by staff
at GameDev.net, however I’ve read both this book and
Linux Game Progamming, and I have found both to be
rather vapid theory books with little usefull code

The RedBook was better.

another great book (although it has nothing to do w/
OpenGL) is “Math for Game Programmers” I think that’s
the exact title at anyrate. I’ve read several chapters
and have really liked it so far (although I cannot
afford it and can only read it when I visit my local
B&N) It has really helped my understanding of how to
do some things (like collision detection and stuff) in
3D graphics.

good luck
Samuel

using some techniques i have not seen other places. When i downloaded one
of the tut programs i noticed it used SDL too (:
