I have a demo app if anyone is interested.
Hello Micah,
I am interested! The description of your method matches more or
less what I did in my SDL-widgets toolkit. Only the lookup in the queue
whether a task is already in the queue I didn’t do. Usually a thread
can first set the appropriate variables, and then put in the queue which
task the main thread is supposed to perform.

I emailed the example to you so we don’t spam the newsgroup.
Anyone else interested, feel free to email me!
Micah,
Can you give me one? Thanks,
