How to use SDL keyboard into iPAD application

Can u please suggest me how can i use SDL keyboard into my iPAD
application.I got some what confused about the type enum methods.–

Have you looked at the demos included in the SDL bundle? In the demos folder theres example keyboard program that outputs to the screen
