Installing in Windows for Gaming

How can I install the SDL and SDL_Mixer dlls for the purpose of playing SDL
games on Windows 2000 Pro? For example, what to name the directories that
the dlls go in and what to add to my Path.

There’s no information regarding this in the download for SDL 1.2 for
Windows or SDL_Mixer or in the documentation on the site.

Thanks in advance.

Prebuilt binaries that use SDL usually either come with it, or tell you how to
install it.On 18-Aug-2003, Greg Yasko wrote:
