Internship opportunity

Hi all,

It’s that time again, time for my annual internship solicitation! If you’re interested in a summer internship with Activision and would be fine working in a small office in Portland, ME that does low-level console optimization and rendering work on the new consoles, this could be the gig for you. Please send resume and work sample (preferably in C/C++ with clearly delineated authorship) to me off-list and we’ll get back to you.

You must be legally able to work in the US, enrolled in a four year under-graduate or post-graduate program, etc., etc.

Regards,

m.

I seriously would but, I don’t have a US work permit and don’t even live in
US , sad I would love to work for such a firmOn Mon, Jan 13, 2014 at 9:25 PM, Vance, Michael < Michael.Vance at activision.com> wrote:

Don’t let such things stop you. Apply and see where it gets you.

They took me for this internship two years ago even though I live in Japan
(with a Polish passport).
I really recommend applying for anyone who wants to get some game
programming experience; its a great opportunity. I learned a lot and got
the chance to work with really amazing people. And don’t be fooled by the
"small office", they do big things there.

How about a real, paid job for a guy who never enrolled in any college program and taught himself? Also, I don’t work before noon, because my brain disagrees with mornings.------------------------

You can do it.

Hey guys, just wondering if this opportunity is still open.

I would be very interested as a current student getting his CS major.

Thanks!------------------------
