Is there a bug in Sdl

Ok, my first program was not a good exemple at all, but look at this one :

it is what I get on my console :

bash-2.05b$ ./thread_SDL
1->(acquisition)
1->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)
1->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)
m
1->(liberation)
console->(acquisition)
console->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)
1->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)
m
1->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)
1->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)
1->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)
q
1->(liberation)
1->(acquisition)

and I can’t quit it (or with Crtl-c)

I use Mandrake 9.0
but a friend who uses the same distribution said me it works with him. I
will try to find why.
