Hello,
I’ve recently been trying to download the SDL source off CVS and build
it for OS X.
The ./autogen.sh and ./configure of course work fine (nothing strange
here), but when I do ‘make’ after a little while I get this error:
Making all in cdrom
Making all in macosx
make[3]: *** No rule to make target SDL_syscdrom.c', needed by
SDL_syscdrom.lo’. Stop.
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
I do know what it means and yes the SDL-syscdrom.c file IS missing, but
I don’t know where to get this file from…or why it’s not there in the
first place.
Am I just insane or what?
Thanks so much for any help,
Derek

Nope, it really is missing, and wasn’t included in the patch I got.
Darrell? Do you have a copy?

Hey Sam, thanks for responding to my e-mail promptly. I’m now just
wondering if anyone’s paying any attention to it since it’s not gotten
buried below many other Q/As. Also who do you think I should contact
on the matter (if appropriate).
Thanks,

It’s already fixed in CVS.
