Keyboard problem with XP

i’m making a simple 2d game developing it in linux/win98

this is the problem:
when i execute the program in a winXP the keyboard doesn’t seem to work right.
if i hold left + ctrl and the up. my ship doesn’t go up. but it does in linux and win 98 and win 2000.

maybe the problem is the keyboard and not winXP

if someone have a clue i really apreciate it.

I’ve no problems with keyboard in winXP. Sorry that I can’t be of more help.
