Licensing

Should this be in the FAQ?

is there any possibility to get the libs in another
license than LGPL, cause when i finish my product i dont
want to distribute the object files of my program!

Yup, since SDL is dynamically linked, all you need to do is provide
the user with the source to SDL and you’re fine. I’m not a lawyer,
so I can’t say if that’s completely true, but that’s fine with me.

That might not be a bad idea. I imagine the Windows-centric developers
might be a little ignorant on licensing issues.

Yeah, that’s right. Just as you can distribute binaries with the GPL (as
long as you offer all the source, too), you can distribute binaries with
the LGPL (as long as you offfer the LGPLed source, too).
