Linux Game Programming by Mark "Nurgle" Collins

Has anyone read this? If so, what did you think, and anything to watch out
for? I’ve read a little and it sounds great, and uses SDL in numerous
places. Any thought at all?–

I’d wait for John’s book, personally.

Linux Game Programming is one of the worst books I have ever read. It covers
SDL and Xlib at the same time and uses several pages to reprint licenses like
the GPL and BSD which are download able. The examples on the CD are in
MS-DOS format and need to be converted to Unix format. Need I go on? Save
your money and wait for John’s book. Although you could be waiting a long
time.–
