Linux Game Programming, volume II

OK, the impression that I get is that people would be interested in a book
on actually programming the games for Linux, assuming some sort of prior
knowledge of the mechanics (i.e. how to write a tile based game, etc.), with
more on the tools (guile, gdb, gprof, gcc), SDL, and Mesa. The porting
section proved to be not as interesting a response as I had hoped, but it
will probably be talked about anyways.

I will send a proposal off to O’Reilly shortly. Would any of the Loki folki
be interested in co-authoring this, assuming O’reilly is interested? (if
you’re bored, it’s something to do, right?)

I would be more interested in two books… One that shows how to program
games in linux and the other that shows to to CREATE games in linux. heheOn Mon, 28 Feb 2000, Nicholas Vining wrote:
