Looking for gamepads with extra buttons or paddles that are known to work well with sdl3 on windows.

My old xbox elite controller unfortunately doesnt work well, when pressing the paddles a different button is being reported (i read something about MS not exposing these extra paddles via API).

How do I know whether a certain brand / model will work?
I was looking at this one but no idea if it will work well (black friday deal btw): GameSir G7 Pro Tri-Mode Xbox & PC Controller | Wireless Gaming

In general you can look in the SDL hidapi directory to see what’s supported:
SDL/src/joystick/hidapi at main · libsdl-org/SDL

Here are a few options:
