Macintosh Game Programmers - Our client, a HOT game development company is
seeking intermediate level MACINTOSH Game Programmers. All openings are for
full-time, on-site employees. If you are in doubt as to whether you qualify,
send your resume! If you are an avid gamer, or a C/C++ MAC PROGRAMMER, this
may be your opportunity to break into the game industry. These positions
should be filled by US citizens or persons with who possess credentials to
work full-time, on-site in the United States. Program the game’s presenter,
launcher, display, and host (authentication, login, password, chat, voice).
Develop the routing within the voice software. This company has developed
and implemented it’s own C routines that sit by the development crew as
utilities used in development. They have an Animation Control Language (ACL)
that is used to take artists pictures to create animation sequences. This is
an internal compiler that they have invented. They also have their own game
engine. Within the network interface is the packet communciations and
encryption. Other areas of the game utilize artificial intelligence. This
Macintosh C, C++ Programmer will create the GUI FRONT END to operate the
same way on the MAC and PC platform. The functions within the GUI FRONT END
to be created are the: client LAUNCH (initial startup) functions, CHAT and
VOICE/SPEECH communication functions, and the client connectivity functions.
Windows to Macintosh conversion work also. The dress code is very casual
(shorts, T-shirts, tennis shoes, or NO SHOES). The stock options potential
could be huge $$$ when the company goes public. The CEO has taken a game
development company public before!

Required Skills:
College degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of C, and/or C++
programming on the intel PC or clone platforms, AND C, and/or C++
programming on the Macintosh System 8 or greater

Desired Skills:
some networking knowledge with TC/PIP or UDP.

Type: - Permanent -

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 Annual
+stock options, pre-IPO game company
