No problem with PGP sigs themselves, of course. It’s just that by sending
them as attachments I’m amassing a collection of them. I don’t mind
getting the occasion patch or test program that I’m not particularly
interested in, but the recent clutter of PGP sig files to delete each mail
check is getting annoying.

No, but some mail clients (like mine) are crashing with them.
Its probably not a good idea to flood the ml with a discussion about this and the best would be a policy decision by the list-administrator -
but I think a buggy mailclient is a bad reason to stop an afaik completely standards conforming practice.
