Jonny D,
This is the first time that I have used SDL joystick API.
When I run the testjoystick program, it reports the following:
Name: HOTAS Cougar Joystick
Number of Axes: 6
Number of Buttons : 28
Number of Hats: 1
Number of Balls: 0
From the HOTAS Cougar Control Panel, the RWR Cursor is listed as Window axes
7 and 8 (Microstick X, Y).
How do I read axes 7 and 8?

It depends on how the driver exposes the joystick. Have you used the SDL
joystick API before? What devices does SDL show as detected, and what
joystick elements are shown (i.e. what is the output of the SDL source
distribution’s testjoystick program)?

I have the latest driver loaded on my Vista machine.
The control panel for the Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS reports the two Cursor
axis as YR and S2.
How do I use SDL to read the Cursor?
