PSD reading code?

hiya,

…just wondering if anyone has some example code on how to read
PSD’s…saw it mentioned in the archives, but no links :frowning:

It appears The Gimp can read them. (At least, it’s listed in the file format
pulldown menu.) If your project will be GPL, you should have no problem
in yanking the code from there and munging it to your needs…

Good luck!

Hi, theres public domain code to read version 2.5 files here: http://www.tulrich.com/geekstuff/
i’ve based some code on it for a project of my own and had no problems reading any of my (admittedly basic) PSDs
