PySDL2 - another Python wrapper for SDL2

Dear all,

I hope, you do not mind this advertisement and announcement regarding a third
party package.

As some of you know, I worked on pgreloaded, which has been declared dead by
now (http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.pygame/24543). A lot of code
from it has been trimmed down, brushed up and transferred into PySDL2,

PySDL2 is a wrapper around the SDL2 library and as such similar to the
discontinued PySDL project. In contrast to PySDL, it has no licensing
restrictions, nor does it rely on C code, but uses ctypes instead.

It covers most of the SDL2 API along with SDL_image, SDL_ttf and (as
committed a couple of minutes ago) SDL_gfx.

You can grab a package or follow its development at
https://bitbucket.org/marcusva/py-sdl2. The package documentation is available
online at http://pysdl2.readthedocs.org/.

Cheers
Marcus
