It seems there are issues with SDL via Qtopia on the C700. Since the C700 is a
640x480 device (which can switch to 320x240), SDL will not work properly UNLESS
you first switch the unit to using a terminal of 320x240/240x320. Is the
320x240 resolution hard coded into SDL?

Yes, there’s currently some stuff that are hardcoded for 320x240
displays unfortunately (my fast blitting routines to be exact). I
don’t have a C700 and don’t know what the rotation of the framebuffer
is, but to sum it up it’s something I need to fix anyway so keep your
eyes open for a future patch.–
