Quartz bug - user screen picture

In addition to the test case I sent eariler (which
it hasn’t showed up yet…) there’s a picture of the
user’s monitor showing the bug :

Ah-HAH! I’m no hardware expert, but I believe this is just
an artifact of switching resolution and frequency while the
monitor is on. The monitor should have some sort of control
panel that allows the screen position to be tweaked – most
multisync monitors do. I have this trouble with my monitor,
a ViewSonic G790. I’ve always just repositioned the screen
using the controls. Once the position is established for
said rez & freq, it’s constant (at least for me).

Maybe this is the problem; maybe not. Good luck!
