Question about SDL_mixer (ID3 tag or OGG tag)

Is it possible with SDL_mixer (or another sdl lib) to retrieve the ID3 tag
or OGG tag from an audio file?
I want to display the title of the song that’s currently playing, but I
can’t find anything about that within SDL_mixer (or SDL alone).

Does I need other specific library about the audio file in question, or
maybe there’s a SDL lib out there that can do the greater part of the work ?

There isn’t a facility for this at the moment, but it wouldn’t be awfully
difficult to add (if you’re willing to accept that many files,
including MP3s, may return “NO INFORMATION” for lots of common
reasons)…this request comes up on occasion for SDL_sound, too.

Thanks for the answer, I’ve finaly looked at the file, and I’ve found some
useful string in the first part of the .ogg file, I will just have to write
a parser to get the info about these tags.
