Maybe not the best place to ask, but seeing the recent posts about porting
and running and SDL application under Android has made me think…
What happens if an SDL application running on Android needs keyboard
input? Does some auto-magic virtual on-screen keyboard pop-up to allow
data entry, or do you have to do it all in your application?

In iOS you can request the keyboard and it pops up (it should, I haven’t tested it yet) but I believe that behaviour hasn’t been implemented in Android yet.
