Running SDL on TightVNC through VM

Bare with me. I’m running a Windows 7 host with a Mint x86_64 virtual
machine. On that VM, I’m using TightVNC to access a remote ARM-based
machine running Ubuntu. SDL seems to work, but I get errors such as the
following:

Xlib: extension “RANDR” missing on display “:1”.
Keyboard layout unknown, please send the following to the SDL mailing list (
sdl at libsdl.org):
The key you just pressed is not recognized by SDL. To help get this fixed,
please report this to the SDL mailing list X11 KeyCode 54
(46), X11 KeySym 0x0 (null)
The key you just pressed is not recognized by SDL. To help get this fixed,
please report this to the SDL mailing list X11 KeyCode 67
(59), X11 KeySym 0x0 (null)

Not to be a grammar nazi, but this is just too funny to pass up.
“Bare with me” means get naked with me.

Thanks for the LOL,

Most likely you are dealing with some incorrectly mapped keys between the layers. Why aren?t you simply using VNC on the win-7 host to connect to the remote ARM system? On Mar 13, 2014, at 11:34 PM, James <james.a.ross+sdl at gmail.com> wrote:
