Hi,
a betatester reported the following problem when testing my
Doom-Sourceport on Windows 98. I’m using SDL for the OpenGL
initialization.
When GlBoom was run, it wasn’t using hardware acceleration, but instead >the microsoft software OpenGL driver.
Configuration:
Diamond Stealth 3 S540 32MB AGP
Savage 4 PRO+ Chipset…
Drivers: JGC Tweaked Driver Set 2.0
If someone needs the source for the program you can get it from
http://prboom.sourceforge.com if someone needs the binarys, please
contact me.
I hope someone can help me with that.

Hi
testgl on my friends ati rage mobility (HP 6000 laptop) has the same
problem as well.
I downloaded the latest drivers from www.glsetup.com, it didn’t help.
Q2/Q3 reports the correct drivers.
He has win95 if that matters.

I believe that Quake II and Quake III ship with their own mini-GL drivers.
Is that right?
Can you find source code that works correctly on your system, or as a
last resort, can you send me the cards on loan?
