SDL 1.3 with latest OS X environment?

Hello all,

I’d like to know, what is the current status on using SDL 1.3 under OS X 10.7 and Xcode 4.1? I’ve been trying to compile but ran into many issues, so I assume it’s not ready yet…

Thank you

Tried again from a fresh clone, still no luck. Too many things broken (10.4 target no longer exists, GCC 4.0 no longer exists, etc.), tried fixing them all to best guesses but I still get errors.

I’d like to know, what is the current status on using SDL 1.3 under OS X
10.7 and Xcode 4.1? I’ve been trying to compile but ran into many
issues, so I assume it’s not ready yet…

It’s known to work under XCode 3 (and we have the buildbot verify that
with every commit now, too), but we don’t have an Xcode4 builder at the
moment, so bug reports and failed build information from people in the
field is extremely welcome data.

Are you using Xcode (as in, the IDE), or just the command line tools
that ship with Xcode4? I have to confess, I don’t use the full Xcode
environment, so it’s possible things have rotted there while the
Unix-style configure script works fine.

Don’t know if it’s related but people on Lion are having trouble running my
SDL 1.3 app which I compiled on Snow Leopard. On Wed, Sep 21, 2011 at 12:33 PM, Ryan C. Gordon wrote:
