does any of you have an idea when SDL 2.0 is going
to be released and what the significant changes are ?
hence the faq on libsdl.org does not tell me that much
about that.

Is there anything us SDLers can do to assist development?? I do not want to
be stuck with several metric tons of outdated SDL12 code when SDL20 comes
