SDL and Xinerama support

A few months back my younger brother gave me a nVidia card as a
present, the card itself is an economy geforce something or other and
comes with a TV-Output. It took me awhile to get TwinView working with
TV-Out, etc, etc …

Let me just cut to the chase here, I’d like to know whatever happened
to Mr. Dirsch’s

Xinerama patch? The patch is dated November 2003, almost two years
later and as far as I can tell the patch has not yet been merged into
CVS and the problem still persist. Any chance that this patch might be
merged any time soon, or at all?
