SDL_Image + Opengl beginner question

Hi all, just a beginner question:

SDL_image could work over openGL. Or only over SDL_surfaces? There are a
way to convert a SDL_Surface to a *image?

You seem to be confused. SDL_image is a add-on library that generates
SDL_Surfaces from common file formats.

Look in the examples section of the SDL wiki if you need help loading
an SDL_Surface into an OpenGL texture.
