SDL_Layer 0.16

Hi all,

I’ve seen that SDL_Layer has been downloaded more than 20 times since the
last release (0.15)
Unfortunately I didn’t have any feedback !

I’d appreciate you simply send a one line email saying like how many FPS you got with the snow demo (activate the ‘-bench -p 100’ options), and if you’re potentially interested by such a tool. Or just “wah, that’s cool” … or “how crappy that is”

Here is the link to the Google page:

http://code.google.com/p/sdl-layer/

There’s a WiKi with compilation instructions and an API.
You can grab the latest version in the Download section.

Best regards,

Julien._____________________________________________________________________________

I did send feedback!

I’d be much more willing to provide review and commentary if I could
see how the code evolves easily (as in, without having to diff
versions myself). We could even use the Google Code review feature to
point at particular things and so on… See the following post (not by
me) for pretty much my opinion on the matter:

If you have trouble with Subversion, I’d be willing to help you out
setting it up nicely, if you want.

Thanks! On Tue, Aug 5, 2008 at 11:38 AM, julien CLEMENT wrote:

Well, thank you, I didn’t see the comments because I haven’t used the “Issue” section yet… nice tool.

Actually, SDL_Layer is not only an API anymore, it is an implementation. And I was expecting feedbacks on how it works on your machines (the demos).
There’re WiKi pages explaining how to compile, a doc of the functionalities (API), and a brief presentation of the project.

I have to think about opening an SVN repository. Don’t know yet.

Thank you
Julien
