I’m new to SDL. I was trying to run some tutorial lessons
from nehe.gamedev.net. I decided to concentrate on the
SDL branch of the tree - don’t ask me why, I could have chosen
linux-glx as well.
Anyway, I found that I had to get SDL and installed the 1.1.8 rpm first.
Found that 1.1.8 is obsolete and installed the 1.2 rpm. Still
could not find sdl-config.
Then I finally installed from the tar,gz file and now I could
locate sdl-config just to find out that it wasn’t necessary anyway.
OK. I arrived at lesson21 when I first time noticed that an
example couldn’t be compiled because some SDL_mixer.h could
be found.
What is this SDL_mixer.h and where is it?–
